After living in Santa Monica, California for a couple years we decided it was time to head back to Boston to live closer to family and friends. We both agreed that the only way home was via a long, meandering road trip through the US. There are so many places we want to experience and explore and we couldn’t think of a better and less reliable vehicle to use than a old Volkswagen Vanagon.

Rusty is a 1983 water cooled Westfalia camper. True to form, he is temperamental at times but we love him and he will be our home on the road for the next few months.
